What to expect from an apprenticeship
Since 2005 we have recruited more than 250 apprentices across our Operations, HR and Asset Departments. It’s an opportunity to earn while you learn and gain real qualifications whilst building a career that suits you.
Most of training would be on-the-job across our network, working with our experienced colleagues to learn job specific skills in the workplace. You would also be based in a College near you to gain the qualifications necessary for the type of apprenticeship you will be completing.

How long is an apprenticeship
Our apprenticeships can vary from 18 months to 3-4 years depending on the type of apprenticeship you apply for, the duration would be confirmed on the specific advert for each type of apprenticeship and department.

How much do you get paid?
We offer a starting salary of circa £24,000. You will receive incremental pay increases through the apprenticeship with a qualifying salary circa £40,000.
We also offer Flexible Benefits and a Retirement Savings Plan (pension) with Aviva: 5% employee contribution, with WWU doubling your contribution at 10% - totalling 15%.
